Scout 80 Door Latch

Recently I discovered that the clock spring for the driver door latch on my 63 scout 80 is broken. I know I can buy a used replacement latch but they are pricey. Does anyone know where I can locate just the clock spring or some type of alternative spring that can be used.
 
Google search "truck door latch repair spring"

several similar springs in the first 5 lines of results.

If you find one that is close, you should be able to tweak it so it'll work
