Well, I was going to patch mine up, but its too far gone. Looking for a windshield frame for my 66 Scout. I have parts to trade or can pay cash. It would need to be removed from the location where it mounts to the front clip below the hood mounts. Any leads on this would be helpful. Im on the central coast of California, but im willing to pay someone to ship one too- dont even need the glass. Thanks!

Wrecking yard near me has one. Not sure of the exact year. But it is about the same year as yours. The last time a checked it a couple weeks ago, the frame on it look decent. Maybe just a slight surface rust, but nothing like the rot yours has. It is a complete rig that they have in the yard for parts. At least one rear windows in top was broken since the received it last year. I thought I had pics of it some where, but cant find them.

Wrecking yard is here in richmond cali.

thanks for the tip. Do you know the name of the wrecking yard?

Oh duh - gues I should have mentioned that before.

"deal auto wrecking llc". (510) 232-0197
it's right off richmond parkway. In richmond. It is a couple miles from where I live.

Guy that normally works behind the counter is ralph. And the owner is ed hagerty. Yea yea, I been there enough times over the years hangen out

you are about 3 to 4 hour drive south of here. If you wanna try and come up, let me know. I could head over to wrecking yard with you, and help ya out.

We have a good used one in stock that has already been removed from a Scout(I personally removed it from a 800 some many years ago). Not sure on overall condition as it is not exactly easily accessible but if you are still interested or looking for one please call as we'll be glad to pull it down from the rafters and give you an overall idea of its shape and a price.

Turns out the one in richmond wasm rusted too so I bought the one at IH Parts America. Thanks Jeff! Im glad I finally found one. Think I'll create a post of the fabrication process as I am replacing floors and other metal also.

Well, when I saw it last couple times I was there, I didn't really look at it that closely. Mostly due to nothing on it I needed.
