Sat January 7 = Scout stripping party

planning to be there around 10ish for the teardown.

I will bring a 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, phillips, standard, allan key, and a hammer... Should be able to get it down to the frame with those lol

Now that was funny as heck. I about busted a nut from laughter here on the bart train. As if I didn't already have 2 or 3 sets of those in prety much complete sers.

Cool. I'll be here in the shop early. And May have the roll up door open around 9:00 am or so

Jayson - I think you had left your ammo tool box here.

Had a good time. Thanks for all the help. Seems we did more chatten than wrinching. Seems that we had the front clip off with in an hour or so. Here's a few pics of what we ended

It was tempting to actually prep the motor to get it started and drive it around the block. But in all reality, the motor does need to be rebuilt. Old, whooped and with one dead cylinder. Along with no clue on what the actual milage is on the used motor from a 90 Jeep. And since it seemed as if my transmission was slipping and temp gauge was well over 240* at the time of the barrel roll, it May need to be looked at.

Plenty of options on what to do with the rig at this point. It's not a total loss and can be repaired in do time. Since I have a tube bender, there's a thought of a bugified Scout. Which would be kinda cool to turn it into a buggy Scout. Along with tube doors. :icon_up:only time will tell.
