Any one looking to run the rubicon? Ive got a hall pass and I'm taking advantage of it. I plan on running the whole thing this June 7-9.

Sierra Scouts is trying to put together a run June 1st up to signal peak which is really close to fordyce. If you are interested in heading up that way, I wouldn't mind spending the weekend on fordyce. Could see if r290 (Craig) is interested. It's been awhile since we've all wheeled.

Whats up Matt,

I did signal peak last year, awesome views and epic camping spots near by. I want to go back but I can't make June 1st and my in laws are in town for the next weekend and I need to be gone June 7-9.

I've got two other rigs confirmed to go but neither a Scout. I know you can make two weekends in a row of wheeling Matt, come on!
 
Rubicon sounds fun, wish I could make it. Got the signal peak run June 1st, then camping up near georgetown father's day weekend.

Lets plan a trip for later in the summer. Maybe get elrod, randy, Craig, Jeff and the boys and the babs guys together for a wheeling camping trip.
 
We did end up going and had a good time. We went in through loon and camped that night at wentworth, the place was empty. Then went out to loon to come back to our original camp site for the next night. We decided not to do the entire trail as my buddy les needed to get his kids to school on Monday. Something about the doors not opening. I ended up hitching a ride with him because the valley was supposed to be 100 degrees on Friday and Sunday. In total, we had had a land cruiser 100 series, Jeep cherokee and a newer 4runner. The wheeling was mild by your guys standards but I know Craig would of gone, if for nothing else but for the food. The total damage was one lc rear drive shaft and a Jeep high pressure steering hose. Not too bad. We ended up seeing a mountain lion on Sunday about a quarter mile from wentworth as we were leaving. Makes me want a roof top tent.

Looks like fun, wish I could have made it. Maybe we can put a trip together in July or early August. Haven't heard about a September run yet, but thinking that's still on too. Would like to get a couple of trips in this year since I didn't get to get out there last year.
 
Matt, I'm down for an August trip (July is all booked up for me). If the September rubicon trip is still on, lets find some where new to go. Hell hole?
