Me and bscoutii left loon lake at 9:30 pm on Thursday night. We made it to walker hill in just under an hour. There we ran into a broke xj that I had been talking to on the ham radio during the day. I had told him during the day that if he was still there when we came through we would see if we could fix him. He had a Dana 30 and pulled the knuckle off the ball joints. Upper ball joint was bent and the bottom one had wobbled out the lower ball joint hole in the c. With me and randy brain storming we decided to remove the upper ball joint and gut it. We ground off the top portion of the ball joint housing and removed the tapered stem, then I installed a bolt in there instead of the tapered stem, then I welded in the lower ball joint to the c and walla. A rig that could get out of the trail. That took about 2 hours to fix. We then proceeded to head toward buck, through old sluice, and made buck at 3:30 in the morning.
We stayed at buck till Monday, did some fishing. A buddy of mine chauffeured me around the lake in his canoe.

We didn't get a single picture of our rigs, just the beauty of the con.

Here's a few vids.

A couple wild trout I caught.

This brookie I caught in the creek that runs out of buck, I released it.

Yep, that some beautiful landscaping. If someone has never been on the trail, hitch a ride with someone.

The streams are flowing heavy.

One thing I’ve never done is to hangout and stay grounded for a day. It’s always been on the move – in and out.

Yup, sometime you've got to give yourself a few days to just hangout and enjoy the beauty of the con.
