Rubicon 4th of July weekend

I'm thinking the wife would kill me if I went up again this weekend.
Sounds like fun
 
Me, bscoutii, my stepdad and a few more of the tdo crew will be heading in Saturday morning. Plan on wheelin and some fishing. :rockstar:
 
Glad you got the time to go up.

We (robin and I ) had a blast last weekend.

Took up the new dog and good times just having fun.
 
Didn't get any pics myself but I climbed the "devils postpile" for the first time. Needed to be spotted but the rig did awesome! It's a scary looking obstacle.
I was in front at the the time and called back to Mike that although I wasn't stuck in it I didn't think I could get over it. As you would expect, Mike drove straight up and over it. Engine got really really really hot but didn't boil over or vapor lock so it's ok.
Fish were biting like crazy. I never catch fish and caught 3. Cool little rainbows with orange spots.
 
Did you go up that big ledge? The one that's about 5' feet or so.
That is a tough spot. Did you go to the right? Or more side hilling it on the left.
