Reverse Shackel

I've installed the front fangs and will be setting up the the shackels for welding. With the front axel out now I was going to put in new ball joints. With everything is apart does it make more sense to cut and turn the c's or just use the 6 degree shins when it all gets installed?

If you have the ability to perform a proper cut & turn then do it. You still May need to install the shims though in order to set your pinion angle. Once the pinion angle is set then turn the knuckles to approximately 5* positive caster.

I've welded the bushings into the frame, as I was installing the new shackels I found that the bolts that go thru the frame bushing and the top part of the shackel were the wrong size. Looks like they sent the bolts for regular shackels.
There're three differant size bolts for this shackel, could you please send me the correct size bolt that goes thru the top of the shackel & frame.

The 6* shims that are used to correct the pinon angle between the the axel perch and spings, do I need to drill the hole bigger or fab something else so the top of the spring bolt will go thru it and into the hole in the bottom of the axel perch? The shim is thicker than the head of the spring bolt. And also longer than the axel perch.
Thanks for your help! Mark

You'll need to call about the mix up in hardware as I do not know who you actually are and n ot sure what size you actually need.

As for the shims they are designed to be bolted to the leaf spring pack using the center pin. Normally new centerpins are needed for this.
