In need of a replacement/rebuilt/new/fabricated fuel tank for the 1969 IH 1200D currently in my garage. Rebuilt a few times, and the old tank has disappeared/rotted away.
Haven't had any luck finding the dimensions/specs on the original fuel tank, so if anyone has those and would be willing to let me know, I would really appreciate it. With those, I could have a new one made.
I'm helping my father rebuild his '69 1200D for the third time and he's run out of options. Last time he had it running, he was using a gas can.
We've thought about a fuel cell but unsure about the inspection requirements in Vermont, especially since we would have to mount it in the bed or back of the cab.
