Hey guys done some research and couldn't get a clear idea on this. I've got Scout ll, 304,Holley dizzy points all oem setup. When doing the remote starter relay upgrade, where does the resistor wire on the "r" terminal go. Do you leave it or does it move up to the new relay. Any help would be great.

Hook it up to the remote solenoid.

The whole idea behind the remote relay is to get all the small gauge wires that are presently going to your starter solenoid up and away from the hot exhaust manifold, leaving just a large gauge battery cable and the short jumper or shunt wire connected down there. Everything else gets relocated to the remote relay.
