I sold my truck and my Scout so this must go.
I came across a factory rebuilt 304 a while back, been sitting on a pallet for 30 years. I tore it down and had aims machine clean and check the heads and block out. Everything is as it should be, but there is a small amount of surface rust in the very top of cyl. 1. They just rehoned everything and insured me it was not an issue.
Anyway, everything has to go. All tins, have both oil pans and pumps for either a Scout or a truck, have the harmonic balancer and valley pan also. You just need a felpro gasket set and your intake manifold.
Also, I have 16 new lifters, new rod and main bearings (proper over size ) and I also have new cam bearings. The bearings in the block from IH are good, I just elected to replace them anyway since I had it torn down.
Looking for 500 bucks for everything (in reno nv). My loss is your gain.
