a new quarter panel was set on the fabrication table so Darren could start the mock-up of the flush fuel filler assembly that's being installed.

This is the filler hole and cap that we will be using. Its machined from steel with a paintable pop-up cap.

Filler hole tack welded in place.

Once tacked up we tested the fit of the cap.

The cap will be ground down to the contour of the quarter panel for a smooth, flush fit.

This was a part that was supplied to us from the customer. I really have no idea where it was purchased. Sorry.

The filler neck and cap was purchased at watsons-streetworks.com. But, they have since discontinued that product. Call them - they are very helpful.
