I'm going, suspect the wife will come. I better sign up soon:icon_eh:

coming up Friday morning I would suspect.
Details details

if the wife is coming then fordyce is out.

I will be missing the rallye this year.

However, I will be on frdyce for the weekend with my club webilt.

Going in late Friday night, camping all weekend at the bottom of winch hill #1.

I am coming to a rallye! Finally. Every year it was one thing or another and this year it's on!!! See you guys soon enough...

Oh snap - I would love to plan on going, but haven't registered yet. And I just realized that there is sept. 16th deadline. if I register within the next day or two, would it be too late for the Saturday night dinner and/or the tee shirt?

I can work on getting a vacation day off for that Thursday and head up there mid day at that point. And hopefully head in for the fordyce trail on Friday. Hopefully I'll have my winch mounted/installed by then. I'm currently making plans for building the bumper this week. If I don't get that completed, I May consider just going for the henness pass trial. Any recommendations for camping there? Or would it be better to work on staying at lake francis resort?
Thanks

• yes, way too late to preregister for dinner and the free t-shirt. Download this version of the registration and mail it and the $'s to Mike within the next few days. It will help us in preparing for you [Sunday breakfast], plus it will save you time during check-in. Suggestion – if you want to order several event t-shirts, list the size and quantity. The other apparel items will be available at the event. We’ll have a dinner signup sheet at registration if extra tickets become available. Even if you miss dinner, join us for the 50th anniversary toast afterwards.

• question for you. Is your truck prepared for fordyce? If not, it can be a miserable experience. And if you break . . . .

• the henness group leaves lake francis Friday morning by 8:30 .

• make your camping reservations with lake francis . camping reservations

• see ya there.

Not going to make the trip this year. I did however just get back from lake francis a couple hours ago. My wife happened to book that spot for some camping a couple months ago not knowing it would have been better to do it the weekend of the retreat. We liked the spot and I can see why you guys would all enjoy heading up there. Alameda jack met us up there as well. Lisa and I did not take our Scout up this time because of various "Scout" issues. Hopefully next year we can make the weekend. Take care, have fun on the trip. Post lots of pics!

Ps-
dropped by ihon on the way up. Got my new suspension, cant wait to put it on!

this is gonna be totally noobish, considering that I've never been on fordyce . but May also help out others who have not been on that trail too . but I have driven my 74 Scout II on the rubicon, and the only real issue I had was carburation being too Rich .

other than being SOA, having ARB's front and rear with 35 spline axles, and soon to have winch mounted - hopefully by the end of next weekend, along with tow straps, chain and highlift jack and maybe a set of 33" tires, what else would be needed to be prepared for the trail ?

if tickets are available, would I pay at the registration sign up when I get there ? or would I need to add that into the form when filling out the registration?

I apologize scooter. That wasn’t my intent. I didn’t mean to offend you with my comments, or anyone else. I wouldn’t want anyone to get in over his head runnin fordyce, when there are alternatives for this weekend only. Once again, I’m sorry. Enjoy fordyce with the group.

As for a dinner ticket, signup at registration. If you get a ticket, you’ll pay then.

No apologies needed, bud. You did not offend me one bit, and I was aware of the concerns. Thank you for all the updates and hard work ya been doing so far. So please don't take my own curiousity and comments as a way of being insulted. I was actually more curious if there be anything else I May have over looked, other than what I had previousely mentioned, since I never driven on that trail. And it was also in general for those others who May not have been on that trail either, in what to prepare for.

And thank you for the update on the dinner ticket info. Along with the other info you had provided. I'll get on it and send of the printed registration form.
Cheers
thanks again. Hope to meet ya up there

10:00 at the shell station on crow canyon.
Cary - dave - cheese - moose.

The hayward harvesters later on that afternoon.

Mike will leave Friday afternoon. Good luck with your test.

I just picked up rob's dirt bike for the real after-party/ride. I'm pretty much loaded up and ready to go. I just need to pick up some perishables in the morning.
See you guys at 10:00 at crow canyon.

Thanks guys for pulling through again. The babs people are a major component why the rallye is such a success.
Lets see if I remember everybody: dave cheese doc marty Joe stacy randy carl jayson rob ramon Craig keith & raul

-it was cool to wake up Sunday morning and eat with everyone else
-the hayward harvester guys are keen on creating a new vehicle game. The “mirror” never made the cut
-I hope you all got a bandana
-rustic “a” had a full house once again. We talked Matt into staying over sat night – he brought his own cot
-marty camped with the hh group. He and rob went riding after the awards. Wonder how that went?
-my 1300 got me to and from
-shhhh
