Hi there gals & guys. New to the forum. Just took delivery of a '79 Scout II. Came by it with a straight trade of my '02 ranger. Its a one owner with about 125k original mileage out of reno, nv. 345, t19 (I think), rust in the typical place, mechanically, seems pretty straight. Years ago I had a '76 and an '80, it's nice to have another Scout. The wife is really stoked.
I'm in kali (truckee) and my first challenge is getting it smogged. Most smog equip seems to be there. I need to replace the vacuum valve (and some other lines) that is in the radiator on the driver side, seems to be a low temp valve. P/n is 496029c1, I found this thread that is related,

Can I use the tomco 13301? Any insight is greatly appreciated.
