Putting front disc on 54" R110?

Our 54' r110 hot rod project is coming alone great! However has anyone converted the drum brakes to disc on the front? Your help is greatly appreciated! Jrod

There are a couple of threads on the oldihc forum (it is back) concerning this. I am installing one on a '53 r130 using l110 hubs.

Actually just carry my bead axe, tube repair kit, pump, and maybe a pair of tubes ( I run 3 piece rims)

I think Dad found a rotor from an older lincoln that fit on the hub, since he put a Ford 9" out back we just have to order Ford rims. The caliper , with a tweek or two, fit right up to where the old drum was bolted on.

@ihotrod if you want to put independent front suspension under it look at a 2003-2007 Ford crown victoria. The sub frame bolts in instead of being welded and a lot lighter as it is all aluminum.
