PTO transfer case removal

This is a cross post from the transfer case sub cause I wasn't quite sure where it fit. Hope that isn't a problem.

I have a 62 Scout 80 with the 152 and 3 speed. Also has a ramsey pto winch from the factory. I'm planning on taking the winch off. Does the winch transfer case share fluid with the 4 wheel drive transfer case? I'm basically wondering if I can just unbolt it and be done or if I need a new seal or something.

For anyone who May wonder in the future. I realized I have a braden pto winch and transfer case. And it does indeed share fluid with the normal d18 transfer case.
