I just wanted your guyses opinoin on propane convertion for my Scout it has a 345 v8 engin and I have been offered a chance to buy a two barrel propane carb and vaperiser for $75.0 bucks. Is this a good option for me

If it's for lowering drivings-costs it could be a solution, but I just removed all of my propane installation because it was in appauling condition (you can have it for free...
).
If it works fine, it's ok. I do believe IH engines runs well on propane if properely maintained. I prefer gasoline though, it's more user friendly and reliable.
Then again, I live in europe so my motives for using propane are maybe somewhat different from yours, I had some other cars on propane but most of the time it was a pain in the a$$ to use, ie: not very reliable.

You will see an big reduction in hp. The propane displaces a lot of air (o2) thus reducing the btu through put capability of the engine.

Provided it is in good working condition, engine performance offroad will increase greatly.
No more stalling going up or down inclines or in off camber situations.
However, tanks will run you $100+ each as a minimum & get used to swapping them (major pain).
If it's a dd, stick with gas & research standard performance mods.

I would call it drivability
you are right the thing will run better and cleaner for sure. Just so one doesn't expect the same power with a gaseous fuel call it what you want.
