Well I started this build a ways back and with working in portland area I dont get much time to do it
so I wanted to post here also with pictures
1. 72 I got from calif
2. 78 I had up in oregon (bought from mr Scout)
4 lift springs, 4:27 gears was a great Scout just rusted
(cant find any other picture)
3. Tear down of 72
4. Tub and engine after clean and rebuild
5. Old dash
6. New dash (thks d&c)
7 new dash installed
8. New intake (thks IH only)
9. Old seat (for those who know me seems I always found
bench seat scouts
)
10. New seats
11. Front floor
12. Tires and wheels (35x12.5 r15) I got at an IHSTO swapmeet
13. 16 inch flex lite "pusher" fan (the only one small enough with
clearance for front sheet metal) with adjustable setting
14, twin sticks (thks mr Scout)
this has been a long and slow project with complete rewire also
(last three pictures) I move the fuse block to the right side for easier access
I do have it up and running and front brakes installed
need to adjust the shifter (bought a mega truck shifter from summit racing) and install the front sheet metal
would also like to add a thks to all who I have called/emailed with questions
and a big thank you to IH only,super scouts,mr Scout,binder books, d&c extreme for all there parts
