Project cancer sucks

I picked this little gem up today for a project for my son and I. As some of you may know he was diagnosed with leukemia at the beginning of the year. He is doing great with the chemo, but cannot do any of the sports he enjoyed before. So he asked me if we can build him a scout so when he gets his license in a few years he can drive one.
The plan is scout 2 axles and 35”tires. A Chevy 350 will replace the little 4banger in it now.
It’s rough, but should be fun.

Any update on this project?

Not really, the Dr.’s did not sound too thrilled when the Boy told them about his new project. We are waiting a little bit to get started on it when he is farther along in his treatments and immune system can handle the dirt and dust better.
