I have a custom built 700r4 (k case) built by shift management incorporated in sacramento. Tranny was built in early 2005 for a project I had going. I relocated to wyoming in May of 2005 and sold that project. I had too much money wrapped up in the tranny to let it go with that truck, so it came to wyoming with me. I thought I might use it in my Scout II, but I doubt that will ever happen. The only duty this has ever seen was when I had bolted it to a bare block, and crossmember for mockup in the project before I sold it. Otherwise, it has been inside my shop its whole life. I had it built to go behind a tall deck 427 bbc that was going in that same project. Here are the specs:
stage 2 shift kit
drum machined for extra clutch
bolt in sprag
corvette servo
front pump machined for high volume flow
heavy duty kevlar clutches
heavy duty output shaft
heavy duty race planetaries
furnace brazed torque converter with 2200 stall
when I had this built, I told them I was going to be in the neighborhood of 450hp/500ft-lbs of torque. They assured me it would handle it. I would like to see $2,250 for it. I have a NP208 tcase that will bolt right up to it (nothing special, but it's a freebee to go with the tranny). I'm located in powell, wy. 82435. There is a frieght company right down the road from me, so I can ship on your dime. I can send pics if anyone wants them, but it's just an automatic transmission with a gray paint job on the case, nothing special to look at. If you've ever seen one, you've seen this one.
