Sorry in advance if this has been covered. My illiteracy with the forums matches only my ignorance when it come to wrenching on vehicles. I inherited a 1975 IH 150 4x4 pickup with 345. Been an great learning experience (carb, fuel tanks, fuel pump, distributor, master cylinder, radiator, suspension) but I have run into a snag that I can’t get past. I am trying to come up with a part number for the correct power steering hose for this truck. The parts guys in town found a gates #361550 that didn’t work. They also found the “recommended” hose but it had a male connector on one end and female on the other. My hose has male (threaded) connections on both ends. I don’t know how they size these connectors but it required a 5/8 wrench to remove the pump side and an 11/16 wrench to remove the box side. I would post a picture but figuring that out hasn’t been high on the priority list. Any help with the hose would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
