power steering question

I have a ps box from a sii. I mounted it in my '69 800 and not real sure which hole is the high pressure line and which is the return. I am guessing that the high pressure line is the larger fitting on the right side of the box? Can anyone confirm this before I fire it up. I mounted a psc pump with the remote reservoir and now have a hydroboost for the brakes so I need some custom hose made up...

The front port is the high pressure line and the rear is the return port.

If you used a GM astro van booster. The engine side port comes from the pump. And the fender side goes to the pressure port on the gear. And tee your low pressure return lines.

Remember your steering gear is sae inverted flare and your booster is o-ring.

If you don't have the o-ring to inverted flare adapters. Most any hose shop can make your hose with both ends. And make sure they use power steering pressure hose. And not 2 wire hyd, hose. You will feel pulses through the wheel and brake.

If you do a lot of low speed stop and go. Or off roading you May want to install a ps cooler or small auto trans. Cooler in your return line.

Well I was wondering when your next completely off the wall post would come up. What is it with you? Asking technical questions about corvettes and beamers. About the only thing they have in common with IH vehicles is they burn fuel and and roll on 4 wheels and tires. I don't know, maybe consult the owner's manual? Maybe search these very owl gorz internets for bmw and corvette forums? In reviewing some of your previous and equally ponderous posts, I can't figure out if you're a troll or something even worse. Obviously you're not an IH vehicle owner. Obviously you won't be making any purchases from the ihon store. Obviously you don't have much technical know how. So the obvious question begged from those known factors is what are you doing here on this niche forum?:out:
