I have a 1979 Scout II, 345 engine with power steering. I need to change the pump but looking at part catalogs there are two pumps that fit the Scout. One has 1 reservoir stud and the other has 2 reservoir studs. Mine has a mounting stud and an adjustment stud.
What I find confusing is how can a pump have only one stud? It seems that all pumps need an adjustment stud! Am I missing something?
