Possible Phone Disruption on Friday 01/07/11

Tomorrow the phone company will be out to add a third line to our existing phone service. There May be a chance during this time that our phone service will be down. If for some reason you cannot reach us please try later in the day as the installation is supposed to be done by mid day.
 
Well it happened again. As usual at&t screwed up my new phone line install. They have yet to install our new line however they thought it would be a great idea to put the horse in front of the carriage so to speak and have the service start without the actual phone line being installed. So if you call us and it does nothing but ring please try again until you get thru. Basically as part of our new line install our existing line was changed to busy call forward(instead of having call waiting). So if our main line is busy it directs to our new second line which isn't hooked up yet. I will at least give credit to at&t in that they are at least consistent in their service as this is the third work order I have done with them in a row that has been screwed up.

For anyone deciding on changing their phone service to at&t I highly discourage you from doing business with this phone company as they simply do not have the capability of doing anything correctly.
 
Latest update - the new line was finally installed yesterday afternoon. For those of you who tried calling us and kept getting the fax machine in the afternoon I apologize. Apparently the technician reversed our two main lines when he hooked everything back up. It didn't dawn on me until late last night so first thing this morning I got that corrected. If you do call and get a busy signal you May try calling our secondary number which is 530-268-0879 until we can get at&t to get the call busy forward figured out. Once the busy call forward is in place it will automatically direct you to our secondary line in the event that our primary line is busy to better serve our customers needs and keep the hold/wait time down to a minumum.
 
All phone issues have now been resolved. Hopefully the hold times will decrease now that everything is working correctly. Thanks to all for your patience in trying to get thru these past few weeks.
