On a 78 Scout II with stock width, SOA/rs and 35's, I was planning on placing the the lower foremost point of the fangs against a straight edge off the front of the frame. This puts the front of the welding surface 2 3/4'' back from the front of the frame. I am looking for the most flex without rubbing on stock body. Is this about right?
