Theirs a Scout 2 at pick n pull in rocklin like a 1976 pretty beat up but has a funny sponge Bob paint job brother said it was pretty trashed but still
 
Theirs a nice skid plate on the Scout out their for the original style gas tank engines all their insides are junk but seats their still transfer case Dana 20 still complete disc brakes up front the scouts a 1979
 
If they have power steering, they might be worth salvaging. Scoutaddict, here on the forum was looking for one as a back up. I already have two spares here on the shelf, otherwise, I might try and make an attempt to get one.
 
I'll use my first 72 as an example. It originally came with manual steering. I'm getten too old and lazy for that manual crap. So I ditched and sold the manual gear box in favor of installing a power steering gear box. Not only that, if your out in the trail having fun and the sector shaft breaks, then you're stuck. Unless ya got a spare. Don't laugh, I recently heard it happen, and the guy didn't have a spare. Just food for thought.
