Parting Out 73 Scout

What kind of shape is the tub in, besides the passenger quarter panel, and do you have the title ???
I'm looking for one, just the tub, or a project, that's pre-smog in the Scout ll body style.
I'll even take one of those right hand drive postal ones if you have one, or know of one.
I should have asked when I was at the shop a week or two ago to get my reverse shackle kit, lol.
 
Rasdank, the pedal assembly will work for a 1980 Scout II, I just need to check and see if it isn't cracked or anything before I yank it off for you. Like posted above, $20 + shipping which should be around $10 probably.

Country boy, the tub has some surface rust/pitting on the floors and some obvious denting on the endcaps and quarters but I haven't fully inspected it for rust in the rockers/lower quarters. There was no title with it, but it is long out of the CA dmv so you will need to start over on the registration. I can go over it for you if you are interested. Let me know. Thanks.

How hard would it be to title that though ??
Doesn't the tub vin have to match the frame vin or somewhere else, when it get's inspected through dmv ??
I haven't delt with that kind of thing in a few years, so not sure how it works now.
Let me know how bad the rust is, cause I'm tired of dealing with the smog crap, lol.

Right hand drive one, no...:icon_eek: we have a postal 800 at the shop and that is about the only right hand drive that I know of. Yes, the tub is supposed to match the frame as far as vin #'s are concerned otherwise the chp will not like it:nono:. There are a couple different ways to get a title and we can cross that bridge when we come to it, as I just had to do it w/ my 800. I will take a look at it this afternoon for you. Thanks.
 
For the t-18/d20, pedal assembly, shifters, and I'm assuming flywheel and clutch I would do $300 if I have to pull it. Otherwise bring a trailer and load up the whole Scout for the same $$$... Let me know.
