Parking Brake lever strut

Does anyone know where to get a parking brake lever strut for a 1973 Scout 2? I was in the middle of replacing my brakes I got new drums, cylinders, springs, and shoes. Got the drivers side done and went to passenger side and could not get the drum off. After about 20 minutes got it off and found there was no e brake strut.

Sorry I wouldn't know where to get a strut at, but I'm hoping you could help me. While you have you drum off could you snap a few pictures of the break set up and where everything goes? I'm having a hell of a time putting mine back together.
Thanks burns.

He's missing at least one part. Couldn't you look at the other side? That's the way I've always done brakes if I didn't have a manual to reference.

I rebuilt my rear axle which included sanding painting and replacing all of the bearing and seals. So at this point both sides of mine are apart.....or I would look at the other side. All of the pictures I have been able to find are either to small to tell whats what or are of poor quality.

Trust me getting on here and asking what I know are stupid questions to most people is not my first attempt at finding answers to my questions. But with all that being said I appreciate the obvious answer.

No way I could have known that. There's always google images..."Dana 44 brakes" should illicit plenty of pics to git-r-dun.

Here go some pics of the brakes I found online

Wow, thanks thats a huge help. I found two of those pictures but they weren't nearly that size or clear. Good luck with finding a strut.
