Paint

I've heard that its ok, there is a lot of mixed reviews online though. I think the application is the kicker though, will it be exposed to direct sunlight? Does the painted piece have a lot of flex? I'm looking at frame painting options right now, there are a lot of products out there. Last week I noticed a summit racing branded product that looked good. I also read that the color also had an effect as silver paint has aluminum in it and can prevent rust even further.
