Does any one know the part numbers for the oil seals for the Dana 20? I need a front output seal at the very least.....I just found out my vent hole was plugged......:out::frown2::nonod: so oil is comin out the front like a water fall...I'm hoping thats the only damage I suffered. I figure if we post them here it could help others. Also I noticed they dont call the Dana 20 in their books they call it a t-142 or something.

We have these parts on the shelf!

Call 530.268.0864 between 7:30a and 4:30p and order up!

Just bought one of these bad boys from kragen the other day. Skf 471413. (napa 12363)

to my suprise, the front input seal is not included in the royal seal kit for the Dana t18/19 kit. Seems that this seal is only made by skf and is not reproduced by any mfr.

Be aware, this seal is not fully encased like the seal you removed, so the back (the spring side) is open. Unfortunately, you will need to drive this bad boy into the bearing retainer housing with the spring facing you. This can be a pain in the arse, but if you find a socket or something that is the proper width, it is not big deal ( the inner fork tube of a 1998 ktm 380 works excellent...)

if you drive this seal in the wrong way, the lip will not ride on the sealing surface in the correct spot to stop your flood of 50 wt. Once you have the part in hand, it makes sense.

I guess this is the same problem I have, I just put a used Dana 20 and the next day I noticed all my gear oil was on the groud and all over thefront yoke. I didn't even know it had seals in there but I know it was a pain in the rear to get the tcase in there and I realllyyy don't want to pull it out just for a stupid seal:/ help me! Do I have to take the tcase out to fix the leak?

No need to pull the case but it will make it easier if you drop the crossmember, you dont have to just easier, just remember to support the trans or t case so it doesnt mess up anything
