Outer rocker install

I purchased an outer rocker from sss, but I'm trying to decide on how to go about installing it. Are there any write ups and maybe a few good pics of how to go about it. Like where should I cut, what not to cut, do I need to cut spot welds on the floor to slide it under it? Kinda like that. Any info would be great.

Jeff did some a few months ago but I would bet that the bb would have tons of info on it.

Like Chad said I would be surprised if there wasn't a good write-up on the binder bulletin. I did do one a few months back. Here's a pic or two. Best when cutting the old rocker out to leave a lip sticking out from the door seal lip(if that makes sense) as seen in the top picture. Otherwise it is a pretty straight forward swap. One word of advice with rust repair always plan on finding more rust.

So on the lip that you left sticking out from the door lipseal. Did you butt weld that or did you lap weld it over the top of the lip and do a series of spot welds?

I lap welded it over the top with a series of spot welds.
