one speed transfer case with dash pull

One speed transfer case from 1973 Scout II, I guess it's a Dana 20? It has a pull knob for the dash, like the engine release knob. It was going in to a Scout framed glassic 1930 model a. We were going to do a stealth 4x4 underneath. Sold the glassic and found the t-case while cleaning out the garage. Come get it for free at my house in Auburn, CA.

Will ship on request-prepaid freight and handling only. Freight is actual, handling charge for shipping and packing would be $20

Mike 530-885-9427 only 15 miles from IH Parts America, new shop or old shop! Come on up!

If no one else needs it Mike, I'll take it, just drop off with Jeff and I'll snake it next month when I'm down there (hopefully).

That case is actually manufactured by IH (chain drive model) and it's model/code is tc-143/13143. I picked up another one from monte a few weeks ago, those were also used in pickalls as the "first" 4x4 option. It's an aluminum case, chain drive.

thanks Mike I have trying to dump it at Jeff's for 2 years now !:icon_rotate:

Someday he'll be begging for one when he does that "special" restoration project. And I'll have all of those units west of the rockies!

Be sure to tell him it's for me so he won't toss it in the scrap barrel! And don't let dimock see it, he'll come up with some off-the-wall application involving the chain-drive case, an overshot water wheel, and cast iron pipe...with back-up power provided by a windmill all mounted in the azzend of that crapped out t-'ette.

that's funny, a few years back I dumped a bunch of Dana 20's there, I had more but he didn't want any more. So I took them to the scrap yard.

I know! But then it's just more shit to move!

But in the next few years when this socialist-fornicatin' gummint bans the service and repair of any thang fun that is not a leased hybrid or electric pos, we're gonna be draggin' out all this stuff we can find for the museum pieces they will become!

I have a ton of perfect d20 (and some NP205) innards that were bound for scrap until I put a halt to that (not ihon stuff!). All have been cleaned and I.d.'d for quick reference. Even the big guys who build this shit didn't want the stuff...but someday they will be begging for it, I've written into my will that all this stuff goes to zaed, that way Jeff can't refuse it!
