Also helped in a sars. Other than the helicopter, I was the first one to comunicate with the lost group by radio.

I was able to comunicate with merlin (retired sheriff and sars) on my ham, and the group with my cb.

Just because you have a 2 meter setup it's also important to have a cb, most folks are not hams and cb is what they have.

Thats just way cool. I have both cb and ham because you you. of course my cb setup in not like yours I did get a cobra 29 radio that was peeked and tuned and wilson antenna. Funny thing I added the mt diablo repeater to my ham radio memory last year when we did slick rock.
