Old scout racer

Might not be the right spot for this but I think there are a few guy's here that might like these. I found this Scout on a parts search. Talked to the ol'boy for quite awhile. He was good friends with a guy named jim jones. Im not a race guy but I have heard the name a time or two. The truck is in sad shape now, but still cool. Note the score tech inspect number. These guy's were in on the very begining.

That's awesome! To be honest, it doesn't look to be in that bad of shape at all from your pics. I'd drive it!
 
That's a way kewl one-of-a-kind piece of rolling history and needs to be preserved if not completely restored. Wish I had the means. Thanks for posting.

Ya the pics make it lok better than it is. You could drive it like the flinstones. Im still trying to get ahold of this thing, but the grandson wants it.
