Oil Dipstick Damage

I am having difficulty purchasing an oil dipstick for my 345. Tried twice and both orders were cancelled due to a lack of stock.

I believe i can fabricate one myself and intend to do so. Does anyone know the outside diameter OD of said tubing so I can proceed in buying some?

I made my own out of 3/8" stainless tube. you may need to crimp the end that goes into the oil pan a bit, and use a good RTV sealer on it.

Thats crazy. I was looking into doing that myself. Looked for a tool everywhere that would neck down the bottom to now avail. Finally sucked it up tonight and abandoned that idea and bought one online.
