Odd handling

Hi all,

I am trying to diagnos some steering issues. I think I have the toe in set pretty dang close. I might just bite the bullet and pay an alignment shop to take a look at it. But I thought I'd toss a few pictures on here to make sure it wasn't something that I am just not seeing. The specs are 2 inch Skyjacker lift, 2 inch longer shackles (only 1 inch lift) 4 degree shims, caster alignment bushing from moog 1.5 degree. New ball joints, new tie rod and ends, new draglink and ends. New shocks rancho 9000 9 way adjustables with the extended mounts but procomp 3000 or 5000 on the back. I have a steering brace but no sway bar. I can drive down the road just fine and it seems to track straight for the most part. Some roads it seems to want to pull to the right others I could let go and it will drive fine. It seems to get loose or squirrely if I get on the gas and get up to 65. It feels like I am correcting a fish tailing condition where I am slightly sawing the steering wheel back and forth. I don't know if I am just preceiving this and in reality it is actually very minor bump steer that I am over correcting. I haven't adjusted the steering box at all and the steering column bearings have play in them not tilt. Also the rag joint was replaced with a borgerson. Before I put the rancho 9000's on it road like a buck board but still seem to want to jump to the right or left on me on the highway.
It there any way to verify all the left springs mounts are aligned the way they should be? Thanks for everyone's time and sorry it was long winded. Here are the pictures in case it is just a draglink angle or shackle angle.

Well got the alignment done and still a bit squirrelly. I have caster correctors in I think I will remove them and see how things look. Also I have slop in the steering box so I have to try to adjust that a few times and see what happens. The pitman arm was actually able to be watched moving while they adjusted the draglink and held the steering wheel. There isn't any steering play in the column and no ragjoint because I went to u-joints there.

Curious what your camber is at. To much neg camber and it will get real squirrelly and very noticeable the faster you go.

Sorry was looking at alignment tool and noticed that too much positive camber and you would handle bad the faster you went

Hey I think I forgot to post what it turned out to be. The ball joints didn't have the proper preload on them and I had lost return to center. Once I removed the caster correctors and reinstalled the ball joints correctly everything worked fine.

Did my ball joints not to long ago and having the same issue what is the how much is the preload torque?

Should be in the instructions with ball joint. The other part that might cause a problem is if the threaded insert isn't installed properly.
