O/S D -44 Pinion yoke needed

Does anyone have an old Dana - 44 10 spline pinion yoke in the antique parts pile?? I need one for a project I'm helping on.

Yeah, I know. We don't want to change the r&p though. 10 spine is good enough for model t track roadster.

About 30 days ago, he finished up a tranny resto for a "t" speedster (an original undergoing resto) for tracy at American spirit in glenwood. Tracy doesn't have a website but here's his contact info:

Just last week I asked him the same thing, he said he'd have to look through buckets full of yokes in one of his storage trailers but I don't know if that ever happened since he came down to the rallye instead.

I'm on my way to mr. Scout in the next hour, I'll check with him also.

Jeff has parted out some tapered d44 axles in the past, I've brought back axles from those for other folks. He May still have some other parts. I have that tapered d44 that dan sold finn here now, but the busted r&p and powrlok carrier (and kit) are gone, finn musta took 'em home along with the yoke that was on it. I have the housing, the brakes, and the axle/bearing packages.
 
Thanks michael! I haven't checked with anyone yet. Thought I would try the loco's first:gringrin:
this axle doesn't have tapered shafts, looks like a Scout 44, but way older. The rest looks good, just needs new bearings/seals and a new yoke.

It's hard to say what the previous hack owner did to this thing.
 
A yoke off of any Dana 20 with the coarse spline shafts is the same in case you didn't know.

I do have one of those on the d20 that Jeff/dan sent my way, but I don't wanna part with it until I know for sure which t-case I'm gonna use.

Mr. Scout Mike sez he has at least two of 'em but he'd have to go dig 'em out. If ya git desperate call him, I told him whatcha be doin'. Dave's on his way here for his nightly feed bag, so I'll hit him up again also.
 
Dave sez call him, he's got 'em in the shop now. And he wants ta hear about that speedster!

He also tells me the predecessor to that old d44 was developed around 1916 and the two speed (planetary) version was the hot ticket on the speedsters and hill climbers. I had no idear they dated back that far!
