Here are my notes from last night for those who could not make it. Does anyone have a picture of the parking lot lineup?

b.a.b.s. Regular monthly meeting, 7:00pm, 07-15-2009
classic diner, fremont CA
in attendance: rob, jayson, marty, dave p, doc stewart, Craig j, cary, keith, pete, Joe, stacy + two sisters that never got introduced. We had eight internationals outside parked in a row. Very pretty!
T-shirt orders: we received orders for nine more shirts. That means that we only have nine more to go in order to meet our min quantity at this price point.
Rallye: due to economic cutbacks lake francis resort will not be able to provide us with the obstacle course and rock pile that we were expecting.
We will once again be doing the steak dinner and pancake breakfast. Cary passed the hat for contributions.
The bar/lounge at lake francis has been converted into an icecream parlor. Doc stewart will still put on his famous icecream social, just not near the ice cream parlor.
We have purchased liability insurance this year…
Mike elrod will lead the fordyce trail run. Randy pearson will lead the trail ride. Mike hill will lead the street trip to empire mines
this year’s rallye will feature a swap meet!
We still need to sign up more sponsors.
Next work day: sometime in September, probably at cary’s shop. This will be the last chance to tune up before the rallye.
Next hollister trip: this weekend. Looks like keith and doc are going for sure.
Summer picnic: still looking for a location. Shadow cliffs and lake del val were suggested. Scouting trips required. I think Joe volunteered (not sure). We want to have the event in an area that we want to draw attendees from. Date will be near the end of August.
Misc: it was suggested and approved that we take up a collection to buy one t-shirt for Jeff at IH Parts America as thanks for hosting our website. Neil scott’s contract with palm has expired and he has decided to retire. Way to go!
Angela and Craig have announced their engagement.
Sean and kate had a baby boy. Congratulations!
Cary asked if we should order business cards for the club. Craig mentioned that you can get kits that print cards out on your computer. Craig said he could do it at work. Craig and marty will work together on a layout.
