North Bay intro

hey guys.
Erik vanrenselaar is going to bring together the guys in the north bay. I’d say most of whom have never gathered on a consistent basis like we have been able to do.

Going to plan for their first get together

• location: I think novato is centrally located for napa, richmond, san francisco, santa rosa.
• find a pizza parlor that has a conference room. Round table has them
• get a date set
• make a post
• send emails
• add to the calendar


for the first get together:
• maybe a few of us could attend
• have a raffle
••• we’ll purchase an ihon gift card
••• some babs swag
• send up cards and stickers


talking points
• the first group outting could be a north bay toys 4 tots run
• rallye - what it's about
• explain babs:
•••no dues, no bod, no elections, no politics, no mandatory’s, no territorial squabbles. Mostly, everyone check their ego at the door. This is not scouts west.
• pass the hat foundation
• will there be a second meeting?

Hey... Here I am. This now seems somewhat overdue, in that I attended my first fall rallye in 2009, and was impressed by the babs concept.

I see old binders around the north bay, and I am making some fliers to give to the drivers or post under a wiper blade.

Having a northern area contingent should make it easier for those who reside north of the ggb (that includes coco county) to get together regularly, as opposed to trucking to fremont.

Maybe we can even get someone like doc, who does make his way up here on a semi-regular basis, to come to a meeting or two.

first meeting raffle
-buy a roll of tickets at office max, whatever.
-make it a free raffle for now.
-1 ticket given for each truck in attendance
-1 ticket given for each person in attendance. Include wives, husbands, kids, moms, dads, uncle's, yada yada.

-banner $65 with scott.

Fundraising 50/50 raffles can come later.
