Has anyone ever run into or heard of a dipstick interfering with the crank or con-rods?
I have a set of stan's tri-ys and cut and welded my dip stick mounting tap so I could bolt it on. Could that in any way end up moving the tip of the dip stick into a funny position with interference?

It's a 304 in a sii.
I ended up grinding the stick thinner so that it would fit in the tube after I bent it to fit into the pan. Maybe it being thinner allows it to be at a slightly different angle than stock?
