Welcome. The most economical route would be to source all necessary parts from a cheaply purchased '73-'79 sii auto 4x4 with rotten body, but in running condition. Here's what you'll need:
*IH sv8 pattern tf 727 that has a married t-case adapter housing with Dana 20 auto bull gear attached.
*IH sv8/tf 727 flexplate and crank spacer hub plus bolts.
*1/8" metal spacer shim placed between starter motor and engine block, used only with the auto trans to ensure proper ring gear engagement.
*sii radiator with trans oil cooler fittings, or purchase auxiliary trans oil cooler.
*sii metal trans cooling lines.
*sii auto 4x4 trans tunnel cover, floor shifter and shift cable.
*sii auto brake pedal assy if desired - the manual assy will suffice with clutch pedal removed.
*all carb throttle to kickdown lever linkage and bracket pieces.
*sii auto trans cross member.
*front and/or rear prop shafts May need to be swapped due to potential differences in length.
*complete the necessary circuits according to sii with auto electrical schematic for proper neutral start system function.
