New Seats

My son and I are restoring a '78 Scout II and are looking to replace the tall front bucket and back bench seats with something other than the original style seats.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a vendor?

I pulled mine out of a 99 izuzu amigo from pick-n-pull. If that helps

I have best aqua seats that came with my Scout. They fit the seat bases good. They do not have a lever to fold the seat backrest up instead the have a knob that you have to spin fifty times to let someone in the back seat

That reminds me that the front seats I pulled from the 99 izuzu can be folded down and slid forward making very easy access to back bench seat

I forgot who, but someone suggested the seats out of a
Chevy venture minivan, I personally like the leather seats
with center folddown console with storage and cup holders
found in most Ford explorers, if they can be made to fit.

I was going to do this with a 1959 - 1961 International
stepside that I had, but I fell on hard times and sold it.

I have regretted selling that truck ever since.
I guess that is why I am on here.

I have seen a few travelalls with the same style front
that my truck had, and I can see myself getting one
and restoring it the same way I did with the truck I had.
But it's going to take time, and money.
