7 pounds 6 ounces. 20.5 inches. Perfectly healthy, as is Mom and Dad.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words, gifts, thoughts, etc. It all paid off with an awesome early Christmas gift for amber and I.

Congratulations, this is something to celebrate about!

Just be sure you always separate his birthday from Christmas, and always wrap his birthday presents with birthday wrapping paper. My wifes birthday is on the 22nd so I have first hand knowledge (and scars) of how you treat someones birthday near Christmas.

As another person with a December birthday I can attest to the fact it is hard to be able to adequately celebrate a birthday with Christmas so close to the same time.

One option is to celebrate on an "alternate" date in June.
