Hey fellas this is my first post. I bought my first International, a 100 series pickup, a couple of weeks ago. First I will post the new post information and then go from there. Info based off badges on truck and line set ticket.
1) International 100 pickup
2) titled as a 1974.
3) 4x4
4) t427 4 speed trans/ 205 np transfer case
5) not sure on axles
6) po said it has a 304. Line set ticket says 345.
7) points distributor, not sure on brand
8) here is the stamps on the carb : r6828a/451911 091/ 2613
9) caliper front/ drum rear
10) as far as mods all I have done is plugged and replaced some vacuum lines. Pos have obviously made modifications I am just not sure what.
Ok so this is my first carburetor experience. I have been reading for days on the forum and have learned a lot. My neighbor has been helping me out a lot. Right now the truck will start up and idle and sounds fairly smooth but when I take it down the street and try to stop it dies everytime. Po did a carb rebuild which is apparent by the fresh looking gaskets on the carb but it still isn't running right. I pumped all the gas out when I bought it and put fresh gas and did an oil change. I am putting a bunch of pictures up so you guys can tell me everthing you see that is messed up and hopefully give me some suggestions as to how to get the truck running smooth and reliably! As far as I have read most guys say dump the 2210 carb and put a 2300 on it.
