Hey fellas this is my first post. I bought my first International, a 100 series pickup, a couple of weeks ago. First I will post the new post information and then go from there. Info based off badges on truck and line set ticket.

1) International 100 pickup
2) titled as a 1974.
3) 4x4
4) t427 4 speed trans/ 205 np transfer case
5) not sure on axles
6) po said it has a 304. Line set ticket says 345.
7) points distributor, not sure on brand
8) here is the stamps on the carb : r6828a/451911 091/ 2613
9) caliper front/ drum rear
10) as far as mods all I have done is plugged and replaced some vacuum lines. Pos have obviously made modifications I am just not sure what.

Ok so this is my first carburetor experience. I have been reading for days on the forum and have learned a lot. My neighbor has been helping me out a lot. Right now the truck will start up and idle and sounds fairly smooth but when I take it down the street and try to stop it dies everytime. Po did a carb rebuild which is apparent by the fresh looking gaskets on the carb but it still isn't running right. I pumped all the gas out when I bought it and put fresh gas and did an oil change. I am putting a bunch of pictures up so you guys can tell me everthing you see that is messed up and hopefully give me some suggestions as to how to get the truck running smooth and reliably! As far as I have read most guys say dump the 2210 carb and put a 2300 on it.

First - welcome to the IH world.

Second - thank you for reading and following directions and posting info about your truck first and posting clear focused photos of the areas in question.

Third - you have a 74 model 100 4x4 half-ton truck. Axles are Dana 44 front and rear with 4.10 final drive ratio.
6,000 gvw rating, pretty much the standard gvw rating and it should ride decently for a 4x4.

Fourth - your distributor is a Holley, points style, pretty standard for the era prior to electronic ignition. Fyi a Ford v-8 cap & rotor of the era are an exact match for your distributor....or you could use a prestolite cap (for IH sv-8) and switch over to the female style high-tension leads when the time comes for a tune-up.

Fifth - you have a Holley 2-barrel carb, it looks to be factory stock with the divorced-heated choke. Originally worked pretty well and May still as it hasn't been debotchinated by a crazed uninformed po (previous owner). Those pos cause folks lots of problems. I do notice a lot of vacuum hoses have been removed from the temperature operated switches located in the intake manifold, thermostat housing, and from the egr valve, etc. Most likely po virus. No need to deal with those right now as I doubt those are causing any running/idleing issues.
I would tend to disagree on that carb being a fresh rebuild, certainly not within the recent past. But it May be able to be rebuilt by someone with the knowledge and experience on that model carb.
If you want to replace it with a new one, the Holley list number 0-7448 in 350 cfm and the electric choke option is what I recommend. IHPA sells them all set up for your truck.
I will let others chime in on any carb tuning tips /repair options as I tend to keep to my carter thermoquad 4-barrel carb.

Sixth - the engine should be a sv-345 as per the LST and visual cues from your photos.

Again, welcome and thanks for reading and following directions on your first posting.

Ps. You May want to peruse the carb tech forum Here and study the "sticky" threads that May apply to your carb.

Good luck!

Edit: a moderator May want to move this to the "carb tech forum".

Thank you for the information! I suppose my post might have been better suited in the carb section since that is what I am focusing on right now. Oops!
