New Brake Proportioning Valve Problem

Hi all. I'm finally getting close to driving my 74 Scout II further than my driveway. This Dec 19th, I will be five years into this restoration/rebuild project. The build process is in the readers rides section if you have not been following it. Every component in the brake system has been replaced with new and upgraded to hydro boost brakes. My new proportioning valve leaks out of the front rubber cap. I tightened the nut in the front because it was only finger tight thinking that would cure the problem, it did not. My question is do I rebuld this new unit or by another hoping it will not leak? I've read various forums that this is a common problem with these newer units built over seas.

They are like $50 bucks at Summit racing or Amazon. I'm sure Jeff sells better quality ones.

Theyr're basically throw aways.

If you want one for Disc front, Drum rear get a PV2
4 Wheel discs get a PV4. (The PV4 doesn't have the front metering pin to worry about)
