NEW brake lines to calipers

Ok - I finally started getting back to working on my 72 Scout II after a couple yr brake from it. I had done a Dana 44 spring over front n rear.

The issue I currently have now, is the bango bolt and hose/fittings being attached to the caliper. In it's current configuration, there is no room to install the bango nut n fitting for brake hose. The bolt and fitting hit the knuckle, preventing the caliper to seat properly in place. I'm attaching some photos of what I'm dealing with. On of the pics is of the bango fitting samples just to try n get something that might work. None of them seemed to work :(

any idears as to what options or solutions might be?
Thanks

I guess the first question is, what changed? A spring over wouldnt affect the brake line clearance.

What application is the caliper for? Maybe swap to some Chevy calps?

Iirc the '72 Scout II's came with Dana 30 front axles and drum brakes only.
So, did you or the po install a disk brake kit on the Dana 30? Or do an axle swap with a Dana 44?

Something isn't right on your rig.

Thanks Jeff
I thought of doing that, but figured I ask first.

As far as what changed - the 72 Scout II came with a Dana 30 with drum brakes. I upgraded to a Dana 44 with (if memory is correct) Ford rotor/calipers n hubs. It's been a couple years since I actually worked on my 72. Been trying to keep my 74 Scout II road worthy enough for being my daily driver. Jeff has seen my 74several times before and after I painted. The primered light green one if ya remember.

Also, I am curious as to the average length of brake hose for SOA on this. Rubber or braided type hose.
