new 2300 R7448, what else needed?

Hey guys,

recently purchased a 73 Scout 2 with 345 and 727.

Currently has a 500cfm 2300 and from what I've read they can be a little difficult to tune on the Scout. Since I needed a rebuild anyway, I decided to pick up a new 350cfm 2300 r7448 to make things a little easier on myself.

I've got the carb and auto choke conversion set on the way, but I just realized that I didn't purchase any gasket sets, or anything extra.

Any recommendations as to what I need to get to make this all go as smoothly as possible?

Welcome. You made a wise purchase. You will want to get a 2bbl base gasket with heat shield. I'd provide the link here, but I'm on my smart phone and I'm not smart enough to figger out how to paste url's with it. But, they are available for purchase right cheer from the webstore. I just looked. You May or May not also have some minor fitment/attachment issues with the throttle linkage. I'm not sure on that point. If you do, they can be easily overcome.
