Need transmission cooler fitting

Help! Hopefully someone has one on a donor Scout or stashed somewhere. My po decided it was a good idea to add an additional transmission cooler to my Scout in addition to the radiator. He took the top fitting and spliced in a cooler there where the ridged line hooks up. I took it out because I thought it was unnecessary but then when I tried to hook it back up, I couldn't find the proper fitting. I tried the big boxes and a specialty radiator shop. My local resources don't have any so I'm stuck. It is a male to male fitting that seems to be about 5/16 or 3/8 and is identical on both sides. The way the line is bent, it seems to have been born with it. See my signature for drivetrain info. I'd appreciate any help you can give. I'll post a pic if need be.

Sorry, I was at work last night and didn't have a pic. Here is what I need. As you can see, I had to run a short hose to make it work temporarily.

That looks like a standard flare fitting. Look here for what you need:

A good hardware store will have most common sizes for about 1/2 the $.
