I need a power steering gear,hoses, pump and bracket for a double pulley 1972 Scout II 304.also a power brake booster. Let me know if you have these and give me a price shipped to 41102. Thanks!
 
I May have a spare brake booster laying around out here in my mancave in northern kalifunkia

I have 2 nos power steering pumps, did you find one yet?

P.s. I have a bunch of nos part and a lot of used parts
 
I got the whole shootin match still in a Scout. I'd take $150 bucks for everything shipped.

For the power steering I mean.... I don't think I have a spare booster/mc around.

That sounds fair enough if you include the hoses and everything is in decent condition. I think I will go with hydro boost on the brakes anyway. Do you have paypal?

I do have pay-pal. I will check everything more closely before we get too excited and let you know for sure.
 
I also need to clarify... You need a dble belt pulley on the pump? I don't know that I have seen a dble groove pulley on a Scout. Someone please chime in if they know any different. I have seen the bigger trucks with double groove on the alt and ps.

The ps pressure line looks to have had normal seepage at the ends, but the hose and fittings look to be in pretty good shape for their age.

My '72 Scout didnt come from the factory with ps so I was looking at the double pulley on the alternator.the ps pump should be just like the pic you sent. Everything looks good to me, and I also need the mounting bracket and hardware.thanks for being so efficent!

Just a thought... If it didnt come from the factory with ps, you might check the crank pulley to make sure there is a place for the ps belt.
 
There is a third belt space on the crank pulley that's open but it's the inside one next to engine.the two existing belts occupy the outside pulleys around the crank,water pump and alternator.I'd say I will have to do some re-routing to make it work.
 
Sorry for long delay. Had a graduation party and commencement and the flu.... All in one weekend... :icon_stressed: I will send the water pump and balancer pulleys just to make sure you have the correct belt allignment.
