Need Help with Rivet size.

Not sure this is a basic tech question, but I just bought new weather stripping for the doors, and the new kits are not very well thought out on design to say the least. I have to take this metal bracket from the original design and rivet it to the new parts. Does anyone have a clue what size rivets I can purchase and where they would be best purchased? See photos. I have a 67 1200B pickup.

They look like "pop rivets" which you can buy at hardware stores.
Comes in a kit with a tool and a selection of different size rivets.

Thanks for the response. I will look up these names. Wondering if anyone else has been successful at installing the new weather kits for the windows.

Try Harbor Freight, They have a low cost "pop rivet" gun that comes with a small supply of rivets.
Drill out the existing rivet with a standard drill bit that is a little larger than the recess on the rivet, taking care to just drill enough to remove the ridge of the rivet. When the ridge/head is removed then take a punch and punch the rivet out of the bracket. Find out what rivet fits the hole that's left in the bracket and that's the one to use.

You are not limited to only pop rivets. Try auto parts stores, look for screw style rivets. They come in a vast array of sizes. And they sure ease removal/reinstall in event ya have to do so one day. They fit just as snug and are as low profile as pop rivets.

We tried the screw style rivet too at home repair, definitely easier to use.
